The two strong teams in the final run for good run will meet Tuesday night as the Baltimore Orioles host the Miami Marlins for the first time in a two-match series.
The Orioles, who are part of the American League East, simply swept the Washington Nationals in three games, allowing an average of 2.7 runs per race.
Tuesday’s victory will mark the longest line of the Baltimore season.
On Tuesday, the first match of the match included right-backs: Miami’s Sandy Alcantara (5-9, 3.23 ERA) against Baltimore’s Spenser Watkins (2-0, 1.65 ERA).
Due to the time spent on the death list, Alcantara has not jumped since July 16. Of the 12 games that appear to have at least six days of rest between starts, Alcantara has a 2.60 ERA. His ERA is 3.56 in his usual four days of rest and 4.00 and five days off.
Although the Marlins and Orioles split two games in Miami earlier in the season, Alcantara has never faced Baltimore.
Watkins, on the other hand, has joined teammate Dean Kremer as the only Orioles coach to allow one or less of his first three league games to run.
This is surprising considering the Orioles pots that came with their own farm system include Hall of Fame Jim Palmer and Mike Mussina.
