English FA Cup, Semi-Finals 2020-21
Chelsea vs Manchester City
Date: Saturday, April 17, 2021
TIME: 12:30a ET/ 17:30 BST
Venue: Wembley Stadium, London, England.
Man City: This tie for one City will be taken seriously as they are still alive in all four tournaments. It is believed by some that these domestic cups do not make much sense, but that is far from the truth as far as possible. Especially when you consider that they ran away with the Premier League and have time before the Champions League finals. However, they have had their problems with Chelsea over the past few seasons, and the key will be to deal with the speed of their opponents. Expect the defense to get more help from the center of the defense and not to hold that high, looking to keep the attackers in front of them.
Chelsea FC: Sounds like it is impossible for Pulisic to start after going the distance against Porto and conceding 11 errors in midweek. Almost painful but eager to play on this. With so much on the line, it will be nice to see if you are relaxed or if you are fit enough, having secured first place. But don’t expect to see three former Pulisic players, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz after a single goal shot combined at UCL mid-week. With City’s strong defense, a certain height could be needed to do damage to the set pieces, which means that maybe Olivier Giroud gets his chance.
